According to documents files with the FTC, Handspring will go public in about two weeks. They will sell 10 million shares priced between $17 and $19 per share. Handspring is looking to raise $160 million in the IPO. Recently, Handspring reduced the price of the initial offering of the stock. They had originally intended to price it between $19 and $22.

In a related story, Handspring announced recently that they will begin selling Visors in Central Europe this summer. MDS Holdings will be responsible for both reseller and retail channels.

Handspring Vice President and General Manager of Handspring International Sarl. Roger Kermisch said, "We are very pleased with the success of our Visor rollout in Western Europe this spring. The public here has been quick to embrace our products and we plan to carry this momentum into Central Europe, where there is a growing demand for useful and affordable handheld computers."
