AltaVista Releases Price Comparison PQA

With the AltaVista Shopping Everywhere! PQA you can find the lowest prices and detailed product information on thousands of products with your wireless Palm. You can search for specific products or see a listing of all the products by category. Tapping on a product name brings up a list of stores that sell that product and their most current prices.

Imagine being in a store looking at a new VCR. You can quickly whip out your Palm VII and look a specific model up to see if the price you are about to pay is a good one. If you have a lot of chutzpah, you might even go to the Customer Service desk and ask if they will match the lowest price listed.
