TouchLauncher 2.0 Released

TouchLauncherRyhor Burakou has just released a major new version of his best selling TouchLauncher application for Palm OS. TouchLauncher combines a touch friendly home screen and app launcher. Among its many features are finger scrolling, rearrangeable apps, drag and drop operations, custom iconsets, wallpapers, weblinks, contact icons and much more. Version 2.0 adds a bunch of new customization options, a keyboard filter and search feature, contact info and link display and much more.

TouchLauncher v2.0 is available now for the Centro and devices running Palm OS 5 and higher including Palm PDAs (Palm TX, LifeDrive, T3, T5, Zire 72). The app comes with a free trial period and costs $6.99 to purchase. This is a free update for previous customers.

Update: TouchLauncher version 2.2 has already been made available, which addresses a number of bugs found in the 2.0 release.

A lot to try out

This is the first time I noticed Ryhor Burakou and he also offered here at 1src two other programs that are available to try out.

I wish him luck and now I have something else to try out.

I would *highly* recommend this app, but be sure to get the 2.2 release as 2.0 and 2.1 have a few hiccups in them.
