Sure looks pretty. I hope the keys are not that glossy like the Centro's. Its hard to see the shift characters indoors on them.

Unless they have changed something since Jan, the Pre's keys are pretty "slick" looking & shiny. Not as hard to read as the Centro's (larger keys and printing with better color contrast for sure) but definitely not as good as the classic Treo 600/700/800-series design. I'd put it about on par with the Treo Pro, or maybe a tad better.

Do note that I'm merely talking about visibility and appearance, NOT typing comfort or feedback. No one not affiliated with Palm or their partners (that I have read about) has actually had any hands-on time with a Pre keyboard.

The keys are clear and glossy and the strong lighting in the room was causing quite a glare in a lot of shots. The keys on Pre are more like the Treo Pro's in that they are bubbly and transparent.

It still makes me ooh and aah. August can't come fast enough. (My stab-in-the-dark guess at the international GSM release...)

As far as a guesstimated date for the GSM Pre, I say late September announcement, with Oct to early Nov availability.
