Palm Pre D7 Interview Highlights Video

The D All Things Digital site has posted video of highlights from the Jon Rubinstein and Roger McNamee interview and Palm Pre demo today.
In the nine minute video Jon and Rodger talk with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher at the last day of D7. They discuss the new Palm Pre as well as give a demo of the new smartphone. The video is also embedded after the break.

RE: The App Store demo was bogus
Sounds like an impediment to purchasing lots of apps...however, seeing as there won't be many available at launch, not that big a deal (yet).

The App Store demo was bogus
The problem noted about the App Store, however (and as documented in the Pre User Guide), was that one has to go to the individual developer's web site and pay for the application there.
Buy App A, login to App A's website and use App A developer's method of payment.
Buy App B, login to App B's website and use App B developer's method of payment.
Etc ad nauseum.
