For AT&T users, relief is now at hand with the immediate availability of a new "electric blue" Centro that is certain to find favor amongst buyers shunning the white version. As of this writing, Palm.com's AT&T Centro checkout page lists the color as "coming soon" with the same $99.99 price tag as the other color offerings. Palm's blog states the new color will be available in AT&T stores and online at Palm.com begining this Friday.

It feels like kicking a puppy to point it out, but Friday Apple launches the iPhone 2.0, and Palm launches a blue Centro. Ouch. RE: the irony
Indeed. Perhaps they should have just called the "Cobalt Blue" Centro as a parting shot to the fanbase and then just closed up shop?
I acutally really like the the Lime Green on the AT&T phone. I think the only thing that would be better is a black bodied phone with the Lime Green. Gaudy? Yes! RE: 'Garish' Green?
more colors are much welcomed! Please just bring us more colors for the unlocked models, too! - With great power comes great responsiblity. RE: 'Garish' Green?
Patience, Palm's innovation takes time. Do you realize how much time and planning went into the electric blue project? Once the mad euphoria amongst the Palm zealots dies down from this announcement Palm will definitely be back in the lab mixing colors. The last known classic PDA user. I've recently upgraded from a Palm TX to a Newton MP2000! RE: Claudia Schiffer centro?
You mean back in 2000? RE: 'Garish' Green?
Well, ok then - this explains it.
How many resources were devoted to this 'revolutionary' project of releasing yet another crayon color in Palm's Fisher-Price phone line vs. fixing up the bugs (including incompatibility with Googlemaps' MyLocation) in the current $650.00 Treos? It's no wonder Apple and Crackberry are eating Palm's lunch with their relatively sub-par phones.
First time I ever liked one of the dumb colors. Well, it looks kinda childish. Of course.
