InnoGear Ships MiniJam MP3 Springboard
InnoGear has finally begun to ship the MiniJam MP3 player, after first announcing they were developing it over a year ago. The MiniJam, in addition to playing MP3s, is an e-Book reader, an image/slide-show viewer, has a flashing LED alarm and has a storage capacity of up to 128 MB. It supports both Windows and Macintosh OSs and is available in Ice and Graphite colors. It comes in 32MB ($199) and 64MB ($259) models.
The MiniJam has two memory slots for Multi Media Cards. The 32MB version comes with one card; the 64MB comes with a second. Each MB plays about 1 minute of music.
Preloaded applications include: MiniJukeBox (MP3 Player), full playback control, full track information, playlist management, and treble & bass controls. Also includes skins; MiniJukeBox provides this popular desktop software feature on the Visor Screen.
For viewing images, MiniJam comes with a copy of Album to Go from Club Photo so users can view images one at a time or as a slide show.
MiniJam includes ear buds, a flexible pouch with belt clip, the full version of MusicMatch Jukebox, and both Visor and desktop file management applications.
It is available now at PalmGear, though only the Ice version is in stock.

I think you have been confused by all the pre-release hoopla. InnoGear has been talking about this thing for a year, and you could start preordering them in July. But now they are finaly making it into customer's hands.

I think many will end up choosing the iPAQ over a Visor, if MP3 is their game. So far, the Visor has not been a success as far as SpringBoards are concerned. Even the memory modules sell at an horrible price. $80 for 8MB or storage....who are these guys kidding?
Looks like Jeff Hawkins has lost his touch!
