eyecontact is a new application for the EyeModule Springboard that allows users to add pictures taken with the camera to the Address Book. The app is free and available now. eyecontact also provides the capability to beam an address – with a thumbnail image attached – to another Palm OS handheld unit with the eyecontact app installed.
Reviews of the EyeModule Springboard haven't exactly been glowing. The Gadgeteer's review said, "The actual image quality was disappointing. I found that all the images were blurry, and grainy." It costs $150 and is available now from PalmGear, Amazon, and other retail stores.

Realistically, the best way to go is still to ask for business cards in any setting. Not everyone owns a Palm (yet) for beaming a card. In addition and relating to the issue at hand, it would be extremely unprofessional to ask potential clients or employers for that matter to pose and smile for my Visor. Get real.
