Generic Media has announced the release of gMovie Maker 2 and gMovie Player 2. gMovie Player 2 supports both compressed stereo audio and uncompressed audio. This free app uses built-in pinhole speakers for audio playback in synch with video, animation, and still images in the gMovie format on most Palm Powered handhelds. It also supports high quality stereo audio on select Palm handhelds equipped with audio hardware, most notably the next-generation Clié. An audio-capable version of gMovie Player is pre-installed on every N710C. gMovie Player 2 supports direct playback from removable storage on other Palm handhelds, including the MemPlug SmartMedia Adaptor for the Visor and SD/MMC slot for the Palm m500/m505. gMovie Maker 2 supports encoding to high quality compressed stereo audio and uncompressed audio in the gMovie format and is one of the first applications to convert videos for the Palm OS with stereo quality sound in synchronization with video, animation, and still images. Windows and Macintosh users can use it to convert a wide variety of media content with high quality compressed stereo audio and uncompressed audio. gMovie Maker 2 is available as a free trial. Users can upgrade to the full version for $30. For current registered users of gMovie Maker 1, there is a special upgrade price of $15. Related Articles: On the Web:More Stories Like This... I tried the Player and placed some movie trailers which I got from their site and the player is not able to read the movies from the card? Is this a common problem? Those trailers are over 2 mb in size!! YesI.M. Anonymous @ 6/21/2001 5:13:55 PM #

I copied a couple of movies to my SD Card and still nothing shows up on gMovie. What's the deal? The article said it supported SD. Did anybody get this to work? How? RE: SD Support? How?
On the N710C, the gMovie files need to be in a specific folder. Try putting them in:
