Week in Review: August 12 - 18

Like the previous one, the the top stories last week were all rumors. Some pictures of the not yet announced m125 were released, there was talk of Handspring announcing two new models, and we gave a sneak peak at two future Palm wireless handhelds.

The biggest hard news story of the week was the announcement that Palm was buying Be Inc. On the same day came news that the man at Palm responsible for the Palm OS was resigning. Handspring ended the week by dropping prices on almost all its handhelds.

Over in the Forums, you can vote on which review you would prefer to see first: the N610C or the S320. Or take part in a debate on which is a better mid-range handheld, the S320 or IIIc.

Items garnering a lot of attention in the Market Place this week include a IIIxe for which the bidding is currently less than $100. There is also a Visor Platinum with a GPS, Wireless Ethernet, and Memplug CF Springboards all available for $450.
