What about tech. books?

I.M. Anonymous @ 8/21/1999 8:22:18 PM #
I didnt see any computer reference books... I'd
go ahead and buy a palm if I could get my fav. C
references in a searchable, portable format.
Currently, I have to split my rather expansive
reference between work and home.

not a copy

I wouldn't consided this to be a copy of slashdot.org.
/. pioneered the News & comments format. And I don't think Rob & co. would mind that I use a similar format.
In fact I think they encourage it and they even let people download their sorce code, and there are many sites that use that code. The news & comments format is the wave of the future for the web and promotes allot of interactivity and the sharing of ideas. Think
twice before you critisize!

I had no choce with NT, I have free hosting so it's not that bad. I'm not much of a supporter of bill & Micros~1. I'd prefer a Linux & Apache server, then I wouldn't have to reboot the sever daily!

http://www.memoware.com" class="news">www.memoware.com is a great source for *free* e-books and articles. They also have a slew of tech books and computer reference stuff.

Memoware is cool, but they don't have as big of a selection of computing books as I would like.
