What about tech. books?

I.M. Anonymous @ 8/21/1999 8:22:18 PM #
I didnt see any computer reference books... I'd
go ahead and buy a palm if I could get my fav. C
references in a searchable, portable format.
Currently, I have to split my rather expansive
reference between work and home.

If your crazy enough to call this site a copy.
Look at and you'll see my point.

not a copy

@tomic212 @ 8/21/1999 11:14:40 PM #
I wouldn't consided this to be a copy of
/. pioneered the News & comments format. And I don't think Rob & co. would mind that I use a similar format.
In fact I think they encourage it and they even let people download their sorce code, and there are many sites that use that code. The news & comments format is the wave of the future for the web and promotes allot of interactivity and the sharing of ideas. Think
twice before you critisize!

How dare you insult rob by using his design on an IIS server!!

@tomic212 @ 8/22/1999 9:25:07 AM #
I had no choce with NT, I have free hosting so it's not that bad. I'm not much of a supporter of bill & Micros~1. I'd prefer a Linux & Apache server, then I wouldn't have to reboot the sever daily!

I know its not the first, but there always has to be two claims.

Hi mum anyway.

@tomic212 @ 8/22/1999 9:51:08 AM #" class="news"> is a great source for *free* e-books and articles. They also have a slew of tech books and computer reference stuff.

Memoware is cool, but they don't have as big of a selection of computing books as I would like.
