Using FilePoint Classroom Edition, teachers can create assignments, quizzes and other classroom materials on their workstations, and distribute them wirelessly to their classroom’s Palm OS handhelds over the network. Once on the handheld, students can work on their assignments, and individually submit them back to the teacher when completed.

FilePoint Classroom Edition works with any Palm OS handheld that is capable of achieving a wireless network connection, including PalmOne’s Tungsten C and T series, as well as any Palm OS handheld used in conjunction with the Enfora Wireless Portfolio or other Wi-Fi or Bluetooth wireless add-on. HanDBase Online Runtime Builder for Windows Desktops
DDH Software, developers of the award-winning HanDBase relational database program for mobile devices, has just released HanDBase Online Runtime Builder. The new database development tool enables users to create freestanding Windows Desktop PC companions for handheld runtime solutions.

For nearly three years, DDH Software has been selling its runtime builder solution for Palm OS devices. Early last year, the company added support for Windows Mobile / Pocket PC applications as well. With the HanDBase Runtime Builder, thousands of customers have discovered how easy it is to design freestanding relational database runtime applications. Without having to learn any programming languages, users can create stand-alone applications based on the HanDBase databases they design.

The online Runtime Builder site was designed to be fast and easy to use, and many applications can be developed in minutes. Customers interested in trying the solution before purchasing can go online and build a one-day evaluation version of any application with all features available to them.

Licensing for either the Windows Mobile or Palm OS version of HanDBase Online Runtime Builder is US$599.99, which includes unlimited, royalty-free distribution of applications created using the program. Windows Desktop solutions can be created for an additional US $299.00. For those who aim to create application suites to run on Windows desktops and Palm OS and Windows Mobile handheld platforms, the cost is US$999 when purchased at the same time.

Has anyone bought that watch yet?

Sheesh. I'd just be happy for a REAL update to Wassup. It still doesn't support 320x480.

I've got a Fossil (well, Abacus) - I love it. The special Wassup version is particularly nice on it. Just wish the watch had louder alarms.

Have also been beta testing the new Wassup which does 320x480 on my T3, plus a new plugin architecture. Looking pretty good at the moment.

Gimme the thing for one evening to tinker with.

You can have what's left back in the morning.

I'm sorry, but I'm still interested in how it handles different apps and games. I'm sure it will be unimpressive, but finding out is the fun part isn't it?

I think it could be the most highly anticipated Clie utility ever.

NetFront 3.1 on the TH55 in landscape mode = awesome!

A Deal You Can't Refuse

LiveFaith @ 2/1/2005 3:28:31 AM # Q
Nevada Casino costs $17.95 and just keeps on costing and costing. Geeeesh, is there a better way on planet earth to part with one's hard earned money that lotteries, craps and poker. A deal you can't refuse ... "throw your hard earned money away wirelessly". Now, that sounds like fun!
