After much searching our amigo's at Palm were able to send us a high resolution shot of the Mexican Palm Centro in Blue. Unfortunately, Palm is only offering the blue Centro south of the border at this time and isn't commenting on its possible future availability elsewhere. Read on for a full sized pic...
Update: There are now additional shots of it online at Palm.com/mx.

Giggle. RE: Gosh, that's exciting
i personally have a thing for blue smartphones, if there was an unlocked version of this in the US I'd buy in a segundo. RE: Gosh, that's exciting
Like OMG, it's just like the other Centro's only Blue!!!!!!
Palm you rock my crayola world.
Just when the black one comes to AT&T they bring out a colour I like better. Grrrr Palm give me all the colors for all the carriers. It's not like your busy updating anything else.
... who facetiously stated that Palm's idea of innovation was bringing out a different color? Oy. RE: Who was it ...BaalthazaaR @ 4/3/2008 6:46:17 PM #
I don't know if I was the first, but I have made that statement in the past. However I didn't think that they'd take that definition of innovation seriously when I made that statement. RE: Who was it ...
Two million easily when they release Sky Blue and Filthy Money Green (watch Gekko drool over that last prospect!).
RE: Where is the Unlocked Version coming
I'm with you on that. I'm on AT&T and really want to hold out for the unlocked version. I need to replace my Unlocked 650 that I've been using for 2+ years. I've assisted other Treo users and the vendor locked ones always have trouble with little things they can't do, or "special" versions of mail programs etc that aren't fully functional. Unlocked is the way to go.
I'm tempted to just buy the AT&T and track down a cleaned up ROM. I haven't done any ROM hacking myself, but there are plenty of resources now and I'm sure that someone has produced a sanitised version by now for the Centro.
iPhone 2.0: http://www.touchpodium.com/2008/04/03/taking-a-look-at-the-firmware-20-inner-shell/ >>>According to Virtualball, Bluetooth GPS and A2DP have all been mentioned in some way or another, from within the programming. A2DP! Which poor soul has been whiiiiiining about that feature? Where is your ALP god now? RE: Where is your ALP god now?
i predict that ALPOS will have the same success as Copeland and Cobalt. RE: Where is your ALP god now?
With Apple, "seeing is believing". When it is actually delivered, then I'll believe it. I had my hopes way too high for that "open" SDK. Yep, they opened it as much as someone's "anal retentiveness" would allow. RE: Where is your ALP god now?
Since your statement is absurd, maybe you can just explain your point. (Or possibly I misunderstood in thinking you were addressing me. I was talking about Apple not ALPOS. Some of the letters are the same, so maybe you got mixed up.) "twrock is infamous around these parts" (from my profile over at Brighthand due to my negative 62 rep points rating) RE: Where is your ALP god now?
>>>i predict that ALPOS will have the same success as Copeland and Cobalt.
You really think it'll be THAT big?!

I like that color. Every single Treo I've ever owned has had roughly the same putty colored shell. Well, the 180g had a rather nice dark putty colored shell but still most of my Treos have been fairly bland. This is true even my Treo 680 which is theoretically available in a wide range of colors - unless you buy the unlocked version. I want to be able to buy a blue Centro, I don't want to pay a lot for it, and I want it on T-Mobile. Is that really too much to ask?
Can you image that!? _Another_ new color!!!
Innovation! Blogged a little about the cento-inno: http://christopherstamper.blogspot.com/2008/04/palm-has-sold-one-million-centros.html
