IIRC, This is the only US Treo you can get with another language besides English too.

It took you less than a year this time! RE: Congratulations Verizon!
I think palmOne intentionally decided to make that move bearing that they had plans to sell Verizon Voice and Data Service Plans in mind, as I saw at palmOne's Treo Store that for the first time in the history of palmOne, palmOne is selling Verizon plans, but only at the Treo 650 and at the America's Choice Level. As you recall, the Treo 600 could only be purchased without a contract, and that you had to purchase a Treo 600 with new Verizon service directly from Verizon Wireless. Well, it seems that palmOne's being seeing a lot of positives with the Treo 600, but basically, IMO palmOne knew that the majority of the Treo users literally buy the Treo 600 phone at an America's Choice level, so palmOne decided that they agreed to Verizon to sell the Treo at their website at the Verizon America's Choice level, and at the Treo 650 level. Hopefully the NVFS bugs have been worked over since the Sprint Treo 650 was released. RE: Congratulations Verizon!AdamaDBrown @ 5/16/2005 5:50:16 PM #
I think it has rather more to do with the fact that Verizon is notoriously backward in technology. RE: Congratulations Verizon!
I wouldn't be blaming PalmOne for this. It's *Verizon's* definition of availability. And yes, Verizon is terribly backward in technology. My mother waited too long for the 650, and ended up just buying a Treo 600 for $199 out the door. Sadly, thanks to Verizon's poor digital coverage and (steadfast) embrace of old analog frequencies that the 600 can't operate on, she's returning it and switching to Sprint. Who's blaming PalmOne? It's Verizon that's stupid. Your mother might want to reconsider Sprint. Their native digital coverage is worse than Verizon's, and they don't support analog either. If you want the most coverage with the 650, you'd be better off going with Cingular. RE: Congratulations Verizon!
I accidentally put that comment under the wrong comment section. :(

You can buy, but you can't get - 2 to 3 weeks from now. PalmOne has an interesting - albeit consistent - definition of "available". RE: There is available, then there is available
Ordered last thursday, 12th from Verizon at the local mall. Recieved next day 10:30. Very cool, but still trying to get the wireless sync to work for my calendar.
By the way, Palm does not support Windows Tablet Operting system.
I just received my new TREO 650 from Verizon! All you have to do is call them and I got mine the next day. Ask for it and overnight shipping. Retail Web/Store $519.00 Price as posted RE: JUST GOT IT!
Paolo--you're just one lucky Verizon customer. I should point out that you need to keep a good eye on those updates so therefore you could download those critical updates whenever you need them.
