Have you checked out Bhajis Loops for the Palm? www.chocopoolp.com and http://www.bhajis-garden.org/index.php
Does palm have an influx of inventory on these products? I can see them lowering the rpices on the Zire models but on the Treo 650 unlocked?

Do you think midevilenemy is a priest or some such. His lack of technical knowledge combined with his general naivety of the real world is really quite endearing. Surur RE: Get Ready for WM Palms, Apologists
Palm really needs one more solid PDA in their lineup. Ideally it'd take the place of the Zire 31, the E2 and the departing Zire 72. 320*320, Bluetooth, 64mb NVFS, a good quality 1mp digital camera, and Athena connector. Such a unit at $200 would be phenomenal and a good upgrade for the Z22 owners Or a decent midrange $150-$175 model that gives the Z22 a better screen and the critical SD slot/mp3 playback and a cheap built-in camera. Pat Horne's mythical Z33 would actually make a very good device for the intended market. A $150 Palm with a strong emphasis of media playback & with a camera...give it a FAT32 driver and try to target it as an iPod Nano competitor that does a LOT more. They're definitely not releasing a Treo 650 replacement. At the 700 release press conference, they said that the 650 was going to be the only revenue-generating Treo for the rest of this year. Nor, for that matter is there anything new on their handheld side before next year according to their roadmap. Signs are unclear as to when they plan on replacing the 650, but I've heard some indications that they may plan to keep it in service until the second or third quarter of 2006. It's kind of sad that a price drop is automatically viewed as a signal for a new product. Nobody expects Palm to drop prices just to drop prices. At $599, this device is obscenely expensive and costs more than the sum of a Palm and a phone. Even with a $50 price drop, these things are still a hunk of change. Naieve is simply a word idiots and frauds use to describe the dreamers and idealists, and those who have an optimistic view of things. Do not be so quick to discount those whose opinions differ from your own, surur. As for me not having any technical knowledge, that is just nonsense. You just refuse to accept that knowledge i have. Perhaps you should be a bit more open minded. As i've said before, please stop posting here, and rid us all of your insolence and nonsense. RE: Get Ready for WM Palms, Apologists
medevilenemy wrote: As i've said before, please stop posting here, and rid us all of your insolence and nonsense. Eh, he's got as much right to be here as you do, my friend. He's behaving reasonably well these days and you just can't take offense at everything somebody says that falls short of showers of praise. Just say your piece and let everyone else say theirs. Well, except for TVoR, of course, who should take his piece and stick it where the sun never shines! ;) Oh, dear... feeding the troll again...

As for me not having any technical knowledge, that is just nonsense. Who's the one who does not know what a kernel is and does? Who's the one who's worried about Linux desktop viruses infecting their handheld? http://www.palminfocenter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29044&sid=c95c561b00ee4f0f8be0484ca20135a8 Surur RE: Get Ready for WM Palms, Apologistsmedevilenemy @ 10/26/2005 7:34:22 AM #
I know full-well what a kernel is and does, again you are just being overly critical and not really listening to what I've been saying.
I'll aknowledge you have as much a right to post here as any of us do, but in my opinion you are hardly being well behaved. I dont think Reckless slander qualifies as good behavior. You must really try to post more constructively.

They already released the 22 and TX before they lowered the prices. Must have some new stuff near release. I'll guess the Treo 700 ( Will it be chock full 'o bugs?) and a mildly evolved Z72. Maybe a z73 that has Wi-Fi, more RAM, and 320x480. Seems like the logical thing to do. I would buy one if the Treo 700 (which is what I really want) turns out as big a disappointment as the 650 was. RE: What fun new Palm will we see next?Timothy Rapson @ 10/30/2005 10:15:26 AM #
Come on Palm. All I really need is a Z73 with that one new feature, HVGA that supports FITALY. I could live with every other feature of my Zire 72 unchanged; the poor battery life, the 1.3 MP camera that is really no better than the VGA in my Zire 71, the limiting 32 MB RAM, the odd carbuncle styling of the camera buldge, the silly blue stuff that rubbed off, the outdated OS, the dearth of new high-powered software, even the $300 list price.
Man, am I ever a whiner!
