The Treo rumors keep on coming this week as we now have full details on the upcoming Sprint Treo 700wx. Specs wise the Treo 700wx is almost identical to the 700w, but with twice the available memory for a total of 128MB. The rumors to date have pointed at the first week of September as the release date and new info now backs this up and provides pricing details as well.
The brochures indicate that the 700wx will become available during the week of Sept 3rd. It will have the same pricing as the Treo 700p. With a 2-year service agreement and rebates the device will cost $399. The standard price without a new service agreement will be $649. The 240x240 screen will remain a roadblock for many, I suspect. It is for me. If WM can't support 360x360 then maybe they should think about going to 480x480. Yes, I know that would add cost/battery issues. RE: Treo 700wx has threaded SMS and SprintTV
Like WIFI, I think the cost and battery life implication so of high res screens are greatly exaggerated. They are putting these kind of screens in digital cameras these days, for heavens sake. Surur RE: Treo 700wx has threaded SMS and SprintTV

Besides having 64 MB ram, the device also has threaded SMS and SprintTV. Palm is transferring all its goodies to WM. At which point will the WM Treo be 'good enough' for PalmOS users to switch en masse?
