Many long-time Palm users are dissatisfied with the default application launcher built into the Palm OS. This has lead to a proliferation of third-party apps that take its place. Benc Software has released
Launcher III, which now sees, and is able to start, applications stored on VFS expansion memory cards like SD cards and Memory Sticks. It also has support for the jog wheels on the Sony Clié and HandEra 330. It is $10 shareware.

When Sony introduced the N series last Spring, some complained that the N710C's built-in MP3 player increased its price by giving them a feature they didn't want. Sony responded by releasing the N610C, which is very similar to the N710C except with the audio capabilities left out and a lower price. News Editor Ed Hardy gives us this review.

As has been rumored for weeks, Sony officially announced the
PEG-N760C today. This is the upgraded version of the now-discontinued N710C. The major change is it now includes Palm OS 4.1 rather than the OS 3.5. This means its screen has 16-bit color.
It can be pre-ordered now from the SonyStyle webstore for $500. It will be available from there and from retail stores in October.

Though Palm has yet to officially announce the m125, the point is rapidly becoming moot. Some stores are already putting them on shelves and many of its
details appear on the Palm.com website, though it can't be ordered from them yet.
Update: Palm has now discovered its mistake and pulled this page from its site.
For the most part, the rumors have turned out to be true. So far, the largest difference is that the m125 actually weighs only 5.31 oz. instead of the 6.1 oz. previously reported.
