The
eyemodule digital camera, which allows Visors to take snapshots, went on sale today for $149.95. The eyemodule utilizes a CMOS imaging array to create digital images with very low power requirements. Preview images are viewed on the screen of the Visor in real time. More than 500 small black & white images, or more than 125 large black & white images, or more than 25 color images can be stored on a Visor Deluxe. Software included with the eyemodule enables images to be viewed, printed, and e-mailed as JPEG files. Images can be categorized, annotated, beamed to other Visor handhelds or PalmOS devices, or transferred to a PC. It should soon be available on the
HandSpring store and it is available now at
PalmGear.
