I have minimum wallet requirements. My basic contents, not counting what little cash I have, is a stack a half inch in height . My Palm III comes in at 0.6 inches high, so I like a case that handles at least 1.1 inches of stuff.

With an official release expected sometime next week, Palm IIIc pictures are starting to show up around the net and also in a few store inventories (but not shelves). Bloomberg.com has an piece on 3Com Shares Rising on Investor Optimism for the Palm Initial Public Offering. 3Com (NASDAQ: COMS) was up 7.5% today, to 67. (Wow, I bought it at 25, why didn't I buy more!) The most significant part of the article mentions Palm (NASDAQ: PALM) shares will be priced on March 1st and begin trading on March 2nd. "There has been a groundswell of optimism about this," said Sally Anderson, a money manager for Kopp Investment Advisers. "Palm is going to be one hot cookie."
