Out of curiosity, I did a
WHOIS search on
HandSpring and came up with some interesting results. They have the URL's smarthand.com and .net registered. Is this the name of the illusive new HandSpring product?
See for yourself. What do you think of the name smarthand? Sounds cool to me :-)

According to Bill Duncan, with Tiger Woods for the Palm/Pilot you can tee off anytime you want from the Palm of your hand. Check out his review of Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf for the Palm/Pilot. He loved it so much he gave it a spot on our UGeek Pick List! There are tons of screenshots, too! Check it out at

an article on Time's site from someone who has seen a demo of The PDA to be released by
Handspring. In summary: don't buy another PDA until you see this. There's another article at
pimpoint on what to expect. You have to wonder if Jeff is carrying around a wooden block of this baby.

This story describes the new Iron Ferrite battery technology in development. The story is a week old, but relevant to us heavy battery consumers. They will last more than twice as long as conventional alkalines and will be compatible with existing devices. Sorry WinCE users you will still need to use 4 D batteries to power your PDA's ;)
