Comments on: Snakes on a Plane DVD Released, Featuring Treo 650

Snakes on a Plane - Palm TreoThe home video DVD release of "Snakes on a Plane" has just been released. Palm's Treo 650 handheld is featured prominently in this new Samuel L. Jackson action/comedy thriller. Palm has a new web page up specifically for the tie-in.

Palm devices are certainly no strangers to the silver screen. In addition to numerous references to "Palm Pilots" in films throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, Palm's Tungsten C made a starring turn (it's depicted in the official lobby poster and DVD case artwork) in the 2004 romantic comedy "Little Black Book", starring Britney Murphy and Ron Livingston. The Treo 650 was also "casted" in the recent film "A Good Year," starring Russell Crowe.

Anyone seen it?

Has anyone here seen Snakes on a Plane? I briefly considered buying or renting it earlier this week but decided to pass. I figured the movie wasn't worth spending ~$20 on and BlockBuster was likely out of stock of the film since it's so new.

I saw it with my girlfriend a few nights ago, as she insisted that we watch it after she bought it. It's a decent flick, provided that you can suspend your disbelief towards some of the happenings in the movie. It doesn't all make sense, but it is entertaining. Worth a few dollars to rent, I'd say.

Samuel Jackson is the best mutha****ing actor around

Don't forget the T3 that was shown in the beginning scene of "Blade Trinity".
When the vampires go in the desert and search for Drake.

My interest in seeing this movie has jumped from a zero to a 0.1 on a scale from 1 to 10.

...which is about the level of my interest in a Treo 650 with the amount of RAM those cheapskates put in it. Muthaf***ers.

I never saw the movie, but heard about them using that Treo 650 over the middle of the Pacific ocean. That's quite a feat, especially considering mine dropped signals in the middle of a major metropolitan area far too often. Maybe it was one of those mystery "satellite" Treo 650s. Probably had wifi, too.

Treo 650 with Wi-Fi? Mutha****ing great!

As usual the reading comprehension skills of youth are lacking.

First, I posted the correct link on PIC earlier and elsewhere:

Second, if you read the post, it will *need* such surgery to function.

Now shoo.
