Palm Pre Due on O2?
Rumor: The UK's Guardian Newspaper is reporting that the Kingdom's largest carrier, O2, has secured an exclusive deal to sell the Palm Pre. Calling it the next must-have gadget, this new report backs up a claim from back in March that Telefónica would offer the device in Spain and Latin America on Movistar and under its O2 brand in the UK.
Undoubtedly this will be for the GSM version of the WebOS powered Palm Pre. Palm execs have confirmed numerous times that a GSM version is in the works and showed off such a device at the 2009 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Guardian article does not name a date or price but it does state that it ill be available in the UK before Christmas.
