Sony Releases Three New Clie Handhelds

Sony has released three new handhelds today at the PalmSource developer conference. The new TH55 features built in wifi, camera and a 320x480 screen in a slim form factor. Sony has also cranked out two others, the TJ27 a entry level model with a built in camera and the similar TJ37 which adds integrated wifi.

PalmSource Introduces Palm OS Cobalt and Garnet

PalmSource LogoPalmSource today introduced Palm OS Cobalt, previously know as Palm OS 6. Cobalt is a new enhanced version of the operating system that is designed to enable the creation of new categories of devices for the communications, enterprise, education and entertainment markets. PalmSource also announced Palm OS Garnet, an enhanced version of the popular Palm OS 5, designed to accelerate the development of Palm Powered handhelds and smartphones.

palmOne Brings the Treo 600 to T-Mobile

palmOne today announced that the award-winning Treo 600 smartphone is now available to T-Mobile USA customers. The phone can now be ordered online and at retail, with a limited time upgrade discount available to previous Treo owners.

NVIDIA Enhances Graphics for Next Generation Palm OS

PalmSource and NVIDIA today announced plans to enhance the graphics acceleration in Palm Powered smart mobile devices running Palm OS Cobalt and Palm OS Garnet. NVIDIA will bring their GoForce family of media processors to bring advanced multimedia support to the OS.

PalmSource Names 2004 Powered Up Winners

Sony OLED Displays Coming Soon
