NormSoft has announced the availability of Version 3.1 of its audio player Pocket Tunes Deluxe. This new version will support the playback of content from online music providers that use Microsoft's Windows Media 10 digital rights management (DRM) for delivering content, including Rhapsody To Go, Napster To Go and Yahoo! Music Unlimited.

Today marks the date palmOne Inc, becomes Palm, Inc. The company today begins trading under the symbol PALM, formerly traded under the Nasdaq ticker symbol PLMO. Accompanying the name change is the release of a new company logo, which will begin appearing on products this fall.

Apple has released an update version of iSync. iSync v2.1 is Apple's Mac OS X synchronization program that keeps info from select bluetooth mobile phones, Palm OS handhelds, the iPod and the .mac service in sync.

DataViz today announced that its new RoadSync solution for Palm Powered handhelds and smartphones is shipping. Based on the Exchange ActiveSync protocol licensed from Microsoft, RoadSync is the first commercially available software solution to provide secure, wireless and direct synchronization with Exchange Server 2003. RoadSync for Palm Powered devices offers access to corporate Outlook e-mail, complete with attachments.
