Yea, enough of this posturing/rearranging, and stories about same. I know Ryan's doin all the work around here and he maybe thinks pressing a button so computers can start trading means something, especially after years of planning, the deal is finally done, but it's never over with these guys. They'll decide they don't like the blue couches on floor 3 and pay someone to design loveseats to go in their place. Gimme a break.

I'm a user, and while I'm a stockholder, those shares are worthless. When I come to PIC I want to hear about innovations not what nagel thinks this week, or what the stockholders approved, or that such bank opened up a line of credit. Please.

PIC needs new gimmicks like about more software reviews when the hardware stories are lacking. Software is one thing PalmOS has over the competitors and it's not being exploited enough here.

Anyway, what they said.

Does everyone get a turn?

How about these Palm execs actually do something useful for a change instead of running the company into the ground?

PROTEST!

mikecane @ 11/5/2003 4:38:07 PM #
T3 owners in NYC should show up at the NASDAQ building (Times Square) and hold up signs such as, "Why is my Palm Tungsten T3 Destroying My SD Card?" and "Ring *MY* Bell: Fix the T3 SD Problem!!"

I bet these protestors would get a hell of a lot more press coverage than Bradley would.

And it'd serve him right, dammit!

While you're at it, also put up some banners/signs asking them to fix the Treo 600 problems people are experiencing (provisioning failure for sprint data network).

Really, you have to wonder if those "market openings" are the best use of a CEO's time these days. How many more devices is PalmOne going to sell because of this?

exactly: zero.

and apparently the stock market doesn't terribly care either. The stock has gone down since the first day of trading. It is now in the negative territory compared to before split.

Did anyone see the coverage? Any protestors?

Quote: Any protestors?"

No, but I think I did see Carl Yankowski on the street corner holding a cardboard sign saying "Will work for stock options". Or maybe it said."Help! I drove a once cherished company into the ground, now everyone hates me!". I couldn't tell for sure, he was pretty far away.

love how they can be quite VISIBLE when they want to be! how convenient! mikecane had the right idea with protesters!
