RE: Wow, so cutting edge of them
RE: Wow, so cutting edge of them
Erm, what relevance does this article have to either Palm OS web browsers or the Zodiac?
RE: Wow, so cutting edge of them
My point is that there seems to be much redundant dead horse flogging on these days in regards to mobile e-mail (read: several top-notch wireless e-mail packages out there) but no single "great" mobile WWW browser.
See, I don't mean to say that PDA or Smartphone web browsing will ever be as good as that on a laptop or a desktop (it won't) but at least have the same cross-platform compatability on something like WebPro that you have on all of these e-mail packages. It's a shame (all $-related) that a relatively subpar device spec & screen-wise like the Treo can get all of the software support and the Zodiac cannot even get a good browser.
RE: Wow, so cutting edge of them
If you want a device with great developer support then don't by a PDA from a tiny palm os licensee like Tapwave. You sound like one of those people who bought a Handera then were upset that the developer community didn't bend over backwards to support that low selling device with a non-standard resolution.
RE: Wow, so cutting edge of them
We're way off topic here, but what's this all about? Tapwave actually has very good developer support including a freely downloadable SDK, online documentation, and developer forums with involvement by Tapwave developer support reps.
