RE: GREAT deals! Thanks, Ryan.
looking for a industrial stile PalmOS divice
RE: GREAT deals! Thanks, Ryan.
My sales are going up all this year, and, just to notice, PIC sales are going up, too.
RE: GREAT deals! Thanks, Ryan.
No Georg, the offer is a smart way to get more people used to the idea of buying software through Palminfocenter. It allows us to pick up some programs at very good prices and benefits developers and PIC as well. Some of the people I told about the offer would never have made their purchases without the discount. One person was even using "patched" (cracked) versions of some apps and I convinced them to go legit. If there was a simple way to show all Palm owners what these devices can do with the right software, the Palm Economy would be in even better shape. Every Palm Store should be equipped with a demo PDA that can easily beam trial versions of apps as well.
I do wonder though how well developers are doing these days. There's so much high quality freeware (HandyShopper, TCPMP, DiddleBug, DA Launcher, FileZ, etc.) and Palm users have been spoiled with extremely inexpensive apps for so long that it must be hard for commercial developers to compete. Here's a sampling of the list prices of some of the better apps I've used - they would still be a bargain at TWICE the price:
- DateBk5 = $24.95
- PowerRUN = $15
- BackupMan = $10
- TealLock = $19.95
- FileMan = $12
- Wine Enthusiast Guide = $19.95
Georg, I realize you're STILL bitter that HandEra's failure hurt your business, but remember: PalmOS is not dead... yet.

RE: GREAT deals! Thanks, Ryan.
Windows Mobile has numerous Pshop apps, but essentially Palm has just one - Photo Viewer. I think the Symbian OS has more choices. It's depressing and pathetic.
I'm definitely buying this combo tonight after work..

GREAT deals! Thanks, Ryan.
The best deal anyone heard of might be this:
Resco Explorer AND Resco Photo Viewer for just $20.76 total with the PIC discount. I don't know if this is a glitch in the system (since Resco Photo Viewer lists for $24.95 by itself!) but I hope everyone here takes advantage of an oppurtunity to get some excellent software at ridiculously cheap prices.
