Palm today reported revenue of $355.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2007, ended Sept. 1, up 4 percent from the year-ago period. Operating income rose 28 percent from the year-ago period.

It aint a rumor. They are, and must be in some nice talks to. The way the questions about anything future related were dodged. Yea. Should be interesting.

I have a few pages of observations that I will write up once I get out of work here. Very interesting, I love the question time in conference calls :D

There's nothing in PALM worth buying at the current way big price.

Every company that can afford to buy JUST at the current price already has everything PALM has, and more.

Not only the LD. All handhelds are finished.

Funny how Colligan used to announce things something like "yeah... we are commited to revigorating, revitalizing handheld sales... bla bla bla... ". We can see now it was all lies. He had no idea where he wanted to go. He (and/or the company he speaks for) makes decisions as they goes along month by month.

First time in 10 years no handheld to capture xmas handheld sales.
They have been too busy on Treos and perfecting WM.
