Comments on: Palm Releases Daylight Saving Time Updates
Palm devices, both smartphones and handhelds, need to be updated so that they reflect the correct time when the new DST changes take effect. Without the Daylight Saving Time Updates, calendar events and email messages will indicate an hour off the actual time in locations that observe DST. You can download the update for your device from Palm Support.

RE: What about older devices?
However, I do known that the TT had a DST related bug, which if not fixed would probably render this fix ineffective. On the TT, one could set the time/date and time zone. At that point the TT would correctly change it's time at the next DST change over date (however at midnight instead of 2:00am). However, if one ever soft-reset the device before the next change over (by hitting the reset button, because of a program fault, or by installing a system extension), the automatic change over would not happen.

RE: What about older devices?
(or go to the Palm Support web site, enter model TT, search for Daylight Savings Time, read article 23151 on DST for Palm OS 5.0 devices)
I just did it ... although I won't know if it worked until March 11 :-)

No wap pages? They put the link for a .prc on a page that takes forever to load on my creaky T600. I go shopping for a new phone on their site and can't see 1/2 of it on my phone.
Ebay sends me to a wap site for goodness sake. Guess all their programers are buzy on that T700p update.
