Something Better

May I suggest using Kmeteo ( A freeware application designed for both the Treo AND TX!!!!!!!) Here is a link: http://tinyurl.com/28kk8z

Save your money and don't support the gx5 anti-TX scum.

Wow, venomous much? While I appreciate your comments about freeware (always welcomed), your comments about the developer aren't that nice... GX5 make incredible software with OUT OF THIS WORLD ui's. So sorry that you chose a model of Palm that the developer doesn't write software for, but that was your choice, not his...

On a more positive note, this app and others from GX5 are fantastic. These folks have created alot of the new skins for PTunes, DialByPhoto is great, and TreoMemo seems to be gathering accolades as well. I can only imagine that we have another winner on hand with their newest release...

Now the Treo-Palm Sneetches had Palms with phones.
The PDA-Palm Sneetches had none upon thars.
Treo screens weren't so big; they were really quite small.
You would think such a thing wouldn't matter at all.
But because they had phones, all the Treo-Palm Sneetches
would brag, "We're the best kind of Sneetch on the beaches."

Now, is this an app that simply WILL NOT run on the TX or just doesn't take advantage of the 320x480 screen?

Who has a Treo? I am the proud owner/user of a Tungsten/T... You seem AWFULLY proud of being a TX owner... Are YOU better than eveyone else? I'm guessing that you are at least better than me because my screen is SO MUCH SMALLER than yours. I don't understand your attitude... You must be the best around.. Damn sneeches and their 320 x 480 screens are always ruining it for eveyone else...

PS. Your Dr. Suess references don't lessen your anger about having such an unusually different sized screen...

You just don't get it do you. Both run the same operating system, both can run apps in 320X320. Gx5 makes their apps so that they will not work on a TX. If you install it on a TX it says that it can only run on a Treo. The makers of the free kmeteo can do it, why can't a company making commercial applications do it.

I still have about half the Palms I've bought over the years and use them all. Some have 160X160, some 320X320 and of course the TX has 320X480 but will also run apps in 320X320.

Why did you put in your profile that you owned a Treo 650?

Sorry your ah screen is so much smaller then mine.

Well designed ... but only for 320*320

I must admit that Gx5 designs are very nice, beautifull and usefull. But i must admit that i don't like their application design du to the fact that all are 320*320 only.

Just for information, kMeteo isn't only a freeware, it s an open source under GPLv2 application.
