Save Space With the ChargeSource
People who travel with a lot of electronic gear might like the Comarco ChargeSource, which replaces the assortment of power bricks required by handhelds, laptops, and other mobile electronics. Specially designed PowerTips deliver power to multiple devices from one adapter. It is now being sold exclusively as the Targus Universal AC Adapter for $120.
It comes with PowerTips for Compaq, IBM, Toshiba, Dell, HP, Sony, and Fujitsu laptops. One complementary PowerTip is provided by Targus Customer Service. I totally agree with teh convenience factor.. that's why I am usually happy to pay a little more for a can of soda from the corner store next door compared to the price at the supermaket.
I just think Targus have totally missed the price point here.. and then they will charge extra for additional tips? This kind of product is great... but it needs to be affordable.

$140 dollars?
That seems like a pretty heft price for a power transformer. When my old Olivetti transformer blew up a replacement cost me only $30. And a cheap universal transformer costs around $20.
How does Targus justify such a massive price?
