jeez, skippy. you're just now finding this out? There've been that number of job openings there since shortly after the access deal was finalized.

About the only thing novel about that link is that it's not hosted at Palmsource anymore.

May You Live in Interesting Times

Send reinforcements.

I don't believe the # was that high before, nor were there as many senior programming positions, if I recall correctly. Beersy??? posted something here about this last year.

Duties/Responsibilities: * Work on exiting

Yes, there seems to be a lot of work going on in that area at PalmSource.
What a hilarious freudian slip of a typo!

And before you ask, the typo was made on the job website.

Surur @ 1/31/2006 11:27:32 AM # Q

I LOVED it!! That was soooooooo hilarious! Thanks Alison!!! I'd only seen this commercial once on tv and it's been awhile. I wish they'd show it more often!
It reminded me of a story that I think I might have already told here, but I can't remember for sure.
About 20 years ago one of my best friends was telling me about his aunt and uncle who live out in the country, near the area where Tom Dooley is buried. Michael's uncle and aunt lived on a farm out there and there were some field mice and rats around so they took in stray cats. Well, the aunt just kept on taking in every cat that would come around until they had like 40 cats! The uncle wasn't all that crazy about cats and he couldn't stand so many being there even if they were good mice and rat catchers. So one day he rounded up all those cats unbeknownst to his wife and put them in a large sack. He drove way out and stopped at a bridge that is over the Yadkin River and was going to throw the sack of cats in the river. He just couldn't bring himself to do it though and he just let them free of the sack. (of course I think even that was cruel and he should have at least taken the cats to an animal shelter or asked around to see if anyone wanted some cats!) At least he didn't kill them! Well, the next day(I think) some family members from out of town came by for a visit. One of them said, "We saw the oddest thing on the road awhile ago; there was this big herd of cats walking along the side of the road!"
Here's another cat story that my Aunt Helen told me a few years ago:
Aunt Helen is and always has been extremely terrified of cats. I can't imagine why but she is. If you even mention the word "cat" to her, she just shudders and grimaces. Well, years ago, she and her 2nd husband went down to Florida to stay with her husband's son and his wife for a few days. The son and his wife had two young girls and the girls had two large, short-haired, white cats. As soon as Helen and my uncle arrived, Helen begged those little girls to please put the cats in another room while she and Cecil were visiting. The girls refused and then Helen reminded them that when they had stayed with her and Cecil the summer before, Helen had left the hall light on for them and let them leave the bedroom door open because they were both so afraid of the dark. So the girls finally broke down and put the cats in a spare bedroom during Helen's visit. A couple of days later when Helen and Cecil were about to leave, Helen went to get her white sweater off the back of a chair in the den. Well, before she got that far, one of the girls opened the bedroom door and accidently let the cats out before it was time. One of those cats went straight to where Helen's sweater was like a streak of lightning and got up on that chair and urinated all over her sweater!!! That cat was paying her back and it knew that she was the reason that it and the other cat had been locked up for 2 days! When she told me that, I couldn't help it and just busted out laughing! You know how it is sometimes when you know you're not supposed to laugh, and it just makes something even more funny! I just thought it was hilarious! I love all cats and think they are the most precious and interesting and unique creatures on God's earth! I hate that my aunt is so afraid of them!

GREAT stories, Surer! I know I speak for everyone here when I say I wish we'd get more original cat-oriented posts here on PIC. But the next best thing is having them copied over here from PalmAddicts. I'm so glad to know we can count on you for this!

As PalmAddict demonstrates, a PDA website can never have enough cat stories ;) With only 3 cat stories on the front page they are running well low of their usual average. Whatever are will they do?!? Maybe some more baby stories?
