Sprint PCS Users Get Blazer Web Browser Free
Handspring has agreed to license its Blazer Web browser to Sprint PCS. This means that Sprint customers with Palm OS devices can use Blazer for free. It will be bundled with the Kyocera QCP-6035 and Samsung I300 smartphones when purchased from Sprint and Sprint's own Digital Link Springboard. Blazer will be available on the wireless carrier's site at no additional cost for all existing Sprint PCS customers using Palm OS-based wireless devices starting the end of September.
Ed Colligan, COO of Handspring said, "This agreement is a critical step forward in establishing Blazer as the standard for Internet access on Palm OS- based handheld computers and personal communicators. We are excited about working with proven industry leaders like Sprint PCS that share our vision and have the expertise and innovative spirit necessary to make enhanced wireless web services available to a growing number of customers.''
The Blazer web browser allows wireless Internet access in a variety of languages including HTML, WML (WAP) and cHTML. Handspring has already licensed Blazer to OmniSky and Xircom.
Sprint runs the largest all-digital, all-CDMA wireless network in the United States.

How does Blazer work?

It is a shame that Blazer doesn't support 320x320, but then the English version of Palmscape doesn't either.
How about a head to head between the two (and yes that can be construed as an offer)?
