Gambit Studios, the company behind the Liberty Gameboy emulator, have developed PC system emulator for the Palm OS. The amazing program runs most PC applications and is fully windows 98 compatible. It requires a 256MB of free memory and a device with a 320x480 screen resolution.

Hagiwara Sys-Com, a Japanese semiconductor company, have announced they are developing four wireless cards for Palm OS devices. The company plans to release both Secure Digital (SD) and Memory Stick (MS) Bluetooth and WiFi cards this summer.

A company called Peer-to-Peer Systems LLC has filed suit against Palm Inc. The Complaint alleges that the use of Palm handhelds and clone PDAs to play multiple player games wirelessly and interactively on two or more such devices directly infringes Peer-to-Peer's U.S. Patent relating to methods for playing interactive, multiple player computer games on ad hoc, wireless local area networks.

Palm Inc today reported revenues of $209 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2003, down almost 30% from the same quarter a year ago. PalmSource has posted its first profitable quarter and Palm Powered handhelds accounted for 71 percent of all personal digital assistants shipped in the second half of 2002.

WebLink Wireless has announced at the CTIA show that it will carry the HuneTec H500 Palm OS 5 device on its ReFLEX wireless network. PalmSource
licensed the Palm OS to Korean Korean wireless communication devices manufacturer Hunetec in January. The H500 is aimed at the enterprise market as an advanced 2way messaging device.

Cingular Wireless and Handspring, have announced the availability of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) for Treo users on Cingular's 1900 MHz GSM network. HandSpring has also announced an agreement with Brightstar to distribute Treos in Latin America.
