Palm, in association with Temasek Polytechnic and the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore, is going to open the Mobile Computing Center, a school to train Singapore developers to write Palm applications. "The initiative is part of our goal to push the Palm OS as a ubiquitous operating system on the handheld environment," said Palm Asia-Pacific director Chng Poh Hwa. -Mike Cane

Development training in USA

Why not start a Palm development center right here in USA? I will be the first to sign up. I would love to be able to write programs for Palm.

There are already *many* classes being run on Palm Development. Checkout:

According to the press release the Singapore deal is the first to incorporate the training into a curriculum.

Much much slower and only the option to list Today's postings seems to be an improvement though time zones might invalidate this. Last 24/48 hours would be better. Still can't miss looking at the site though.
