Comments on: What Happened to Developers' Nation?
Developers' Nation, the third party website that offers support services for Palm OS developers, is undergoing a crisis. The site currently has only the statement "Regretfully, Developers' Nation is no longer able to provide service" and a link to PalmOS.com. However, according to PalmStation, the site has been hacked and infected with the sadmind/IIS worm.

Sense of Crisis
Well, this just sort of deepen the sense of crisis surrounding Palm, doesn't it?
Perhaps Palm shall have to think about bringing what Developer Nation's been providing back in-house, even though it may mean increasing headcounts in the software division despite the current cash crunch.
Developers are the future of the company and Palm should do everything in its power to safeguard this valuable resource and advantage.

Is it really needed? I've been developing Palm apps for years and never used anything other than the forums.

As a developer myself, I'm really disappointed that DN is shut down. It was highly helpful. Until Palm "re-internalizes" its knowledge bases, I suggest all us developers unite and create a Yahoo group. Beyond that, we have #palmchat and the yahoo groups that are out there now. Maybe eLance too. Just a bit of patience and everything will be back together.
