Where are the goods?

Too bad there's no compelling product to offer for sale in those stores!!! It'd be nifty see a few limited edition store-only items (a matte black T|E, for example).

I've yet to personally visit one of P1's stores but they seem to be nice, well-lit, clean places from what I've heard. Service seems to run the gamut drastically depending on location.

Hey, Ryan, maybe you could run a PIC story about a "user experience" review from someone who regular travels to malls or airports where a store is located!

Too bad pa1mOne doesn't put as much energy into trying to come up with actual HARDWARE worthy of industry awards.

Your point about putting out a matte black PDA is a good one. The IBM Workpad c3 was one of the best, most professional-looking PDAs ever released and it's odd that Palm never seemed to understand the appeal of a clean, Basic Black design to business customers. (IBM's black laptops sell well for a variety of reasons, but they just wouldn't be "cool" if they didn't come in a black case...)

Sony CLIE UX100: 128 MB real RAM, OLED screen. All the PDA anyone really ever wanted.

Well all you guys that can't afford first class tickets and spend time hobbing on CheapFlights.com won't be shopping there anytime soon. These airport stores are a brilliant move and are doing very well seeing to real people that matter and not those that bitch on forums like this.

Man, I don't need reality TV, I have this place!
