Rotate button - nice

Great initiative Michael. Works very nicely. I'd like the option to map to the voice memo button. Regardless - well done.

I was going to post the same, but for now will map the one used to the VR. Great work tho!

I have good news. The next version will allow you to map the voice recorder button. I had to poke around a bit, as mapping this button via the Palm API is non-standard.

It should be up on my website in a week or two. I don't want to post every little upgrade on PIC because the last thing I want to do is spam.

Rotate

An extention of the Rotate app might be to figure out a way to have the OS remember your preference for each application. I.e. open calendar -> auto landscape mode, then address -> auto back to portrat mode. Then you could avoid having to hit a button at all.

Thanks for the good work.

Wow, that's a feature I hadn't thought of. It might drive some users nuts as apps appear in various orientations. But I'll look into this.

I was thinking of adding a 180 degree rotatation. I once found myself across the table from an interviewer and was showing off an application. I was trying to write grafitti upside down! If I had a 180 degree rotate, then things would have went a bit smoother.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and compliments.

Is there any SkinUi for Palm OS 4?

javispedro @ 6/16/2005 5:16:35 PM # Q
SkinUi doesn't run on POS 4 Emulator due to "System Error". Do you know if there is some replacement for it that works on Palm OS 4?
