PalmSource Developer Seminars Updated
PalmSource has posted more information on their upcoming developer seminars. The first of which will be held in San Franscisco Bay Area on May 6 & 7th. In addition, the date for the major annual PalmSource conference has been pushed back to February 2004.
PalmSource is holding three developer seminars this year, one in the San Francisco Bay Area (May 6-7), another in Beijing China (June 2-3) and a European seminar in Munich (September 22-23). The PalmSource Developer Seminar Series are two-day events designed specifically for Palm OS developers in different parts of the world. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other developers, meet with key Palm OS licensees, and preview the latest tools, devices, and applications for the Palm OS.
There is a 20% early bird discount if you register by April 15th.
PalmSource CEO David Nagel will be the keynote speaker, talks will also be given by Michael Mace, David Fedor and others. The seminar agenda also includes developer sessions, tutorials and presentations. Attendees will also be given a sneak peek at Palm OS 6 and information on enabling applications to take advantage of the Qualcomm BREW Distribution System.
PalmSource Devekoper Conference
The Annual Conference will now take place in February 2004, and will be held in San Francisco, CA. The Conference will focus on the latest advances and features of Palm OS 6 and the latest vision of the mobile products industry.
According to the latest PalmSource developer newsletter, the decision to delay the Annual Developer Conference was made based on the need to support and sustain sales of the current line-up of Palm Powered products.
