Treo 700wx Released in Mexico

Palm has announced the Palm Treo 700wx smartphone on the Iusacell Network in Mexico, marking the first availability of a Windows Mobile 5.0-based Treo smartphone in the Latin American market.

Palm Treo 700wxThe Treo 700wx combines a great mobile phone, comprising the functionality and ease of use for which Treo smartphones are known, with the power and security of Windows Mobile favored by many businesses. Today's announcement offers Iusacell's customer base more choices and complements the Treo 650 smartphone running on the Palm OS platform.

"The Treo 700wx is the first Windows Mobile Treo smartphone in Latin America and will offer customers a true competitive edge -- the Palm experience combined with ready access to Microsoft's world-class email solution."
