Nice, for all you poor WinMob users. But I don't care.

You know, I seem to think I saw this so recently at handago:

Good for someone. But would you do it for palm, say ZLauncher or something? Please!!

Vamp, did you see my analysis suggesting how the majority of Treo's now sold are WM?

How come Treo users do not get anything? Can we have something too? please

yes, I read all your posts with anticipation :)

Of course WM is popular, its Microsoft; which has an amazingly powerful brand.
My wish was to see Palm OS continually developed so it remained a strong unique player in the market. Competition in the os field is important.
But Palm is going to screw itself long term with this WM move.
Problem now is they tasted the easy money fix and revenue stream of WM. The long term danger is they will become commodotized and just another plain WM reseller.

That's their choice as a company. I personally prefer to see Palm focus on a new improved Palm OS.

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day (Windows Mobile).
Show a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime (Palm OS over Linux + N. America hardware designed + assembled).

Sorry, but I'd rather pay for a PalmOS Agendus version than getting it free for WM.
