Ok, I’ll admit--my geek quotient is high enough that I’d want to travel with something like Palm’s fantastic
GPS Navigator kit. But it’s not high enough to want to ruin my dashboard with a permanently installed cradle or a messy but flimsy adhesive-backed mount. In the past I just would use my car’s cup holder as the general hold-all for all loose items, electronics included. When I travel and use a rental car I generally bring along my GPS receiver, a cordless radar detector and the omnipresent cell phone/Treo.

In an earlier review I covered Palm’s own
Cradle Kit for Athena/Multi-Connector PDAs such as the T5, TX, E2, and LifeDrive. Shortly after reviewing that particular cradle, I made the leap from a
Palm TX to a

Palm has launched the Treo 700wx on the Sprint Network. The 700wx is a EV-DO capable smartphone powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition. The 700wx is now available for purchase at Sprint retail locations beginning around $499 depending on available discounts, online availability is expected later this week.

The Treo rumors keep on coming this week as we now have full details on the upcoming Sprint Treo 700wx. Specs wise the Treo 700wx is almost identical to the 700w, but with twice the available memory for a total of 128MB. The
rumors to date have pointed at the first week of September as the release date and new info now backs this up and provides pricing details as well.

Rumor: A number of new Palm Treo 750 pictures have been shown up this past week. The new model is expected to debut in Europe on Vodafone on
Sept 12th. The Treo 750 will run on 3G/UTMS networks and is powered by Window Mobile in an antenna-less package. Read on for a few of the device shots.
