Bankruptcy is not always the same thing as going out of business. In this case, Motient's creditors have agreed to take the money they are owed in Motient stock. Probably a pretty good deal for them as they would get little if the company shut down and auctioned off its assets as a way to pay its creditors. For legal reasons, it's necessary for the company to be in bankruptcy to do this.

It's a PR statement to say that the bankruptcy protection actions going forward will not affect their wireless service. After all, it's their wireless service customers that will have the best chances of keeping them alive. But it's quite unrealistic to believe that the service will not be altered in some form or fashion.

Omnisky recently did the same, and their service remained unchanged (to date).

anagram

Hey has anybody tried the beta for the Outlook version of anagram? I bought the Palm OS version and certainly got my money's worth. Maybe, if the Outlook version is as seamless as the Palm OS one, I will bite the bullet and switch to Outlook.

Ya I tried the beta outlook version and although not perfect, it works pretty well. I have switched from palm desktop to outlook to get more power and if this works as well as it seems to claim I will have no problem registering it after the demo is up. It makes a lazy person very happy.

Ran into a couple of bugs, but I'm generally impressed with how well it works. Will also probably register when it comes out of beta.
