Palm Computing to Become independent Company

3Com Corp. (Nasdaq: COMS) said Monday it will spin off its Palm Computing unit as an independent company.

In a statement, 3Com said the new structure will "enable 3Com and Palm to build on their market leadership positions in networking and handheld computing." An IPO is also in the foreseeable future. Is 3com's Palm spin-off a good move?

I am a message from the past. oooooooooo. Palm will be in serious trouble. They will rls a product after announcing it too early. No one will like it. People will complain. Dogs and cats, living together. Total anarchy. I am a voice from the future. You have been warned.
