Quickies: Site updates, Apple Palm, and TCPUG
Site Updates
I fixed a few bugs here and there with the site. It should now look a little better in Netscape and also on iMacs. Let us know if there are any other issues. By request, you can now click on the news headlines to view the detailed news page. If you haven't checked out the Palm Graveyard in a while, I suggest you do so. We've added a ton of new horror stories and Steve Lynch contributed one of the most amazing stories to date.
Apple Palm Phone?
Zero101 sent in a link to a site that appears to have an artists rendition of a Palm OS/Cell phone hybrid device that supposedly Apple has in the works.
MSPUG is now the TCPUG!
The MSPUG has changed it's name! We are no longer the Minneapolis/St Paul Palm User Group. We are now the Twin Cities Palm User Group! TCPUG for short.
Our first meeting was help last Saturday, October 21st. A big thanks to Orion Consulting for allowing us to use a room in their building. Thanks to Jorge Rimblas of Orion for setting this up for us as well.
We had introductions, a little show and tell of Palms and Palm accessories, give-aways and more! It was a great start to our group!
Our members decided that Twin Cities Palm User Group was a better name, so we've changed it to reflect what are members want. We also took questions and comments on our next meeting.
It was decided to try out a meeting on a week night to see how people like that rather than meeting on a weekend.
Tentatively, our next meeting will be on: November 15th at 6:30 p.m. More will follow with a formal announcement once this has been finalized. We're also hoping to have a special guest.
Our website and e-mail address has changed as well. The new website is at: http://www.interpug.com/tcpug and the new e-mail address is: tcpug@interpug.com
Look for a info soon to come on our November meeting!

though I'm aware that, in real life, it would be about 1.5 inches thick, which is much too big.
