Mac Pac 2.5 & USB Kit

Palm Desktop 2.5 is out for the Macintosh. You can find information on the Palm web site and over at PimPoint. Also in stores now is the Palm USB Kit, which greatly improves hot-sync performance.

How much does it speed up the sync? Whats the difference if you top out at 57kbs thru the serial port of the palm anyway whether its through a 9 pin or a usb?

Installing MacPac 2.5

When I try to install 2.5, I get a system error:unexpected en of file. The 2.5 folder is placed
on the drive, but it is empty. This happens with extensions on or off.Palm support is clueless.
I'm useing a mac 6500 and 8.5.1. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
