Week in Review: Sept. 16 - Sept. 22
This week saw the official announcements of four long awaited handhelds: the Sony PEG-N760C, the Handspring Pro and Neo, and the Palm m125. Unfortunately, it also was week Palm delayed the release of the i705 until next year.
Rhinoskin released a molded hardcase for the m500 series and Sony announced its new audio player. In software, TinySheet 4 debuted and so did Launcher III and ThinkOffice.
Though far from out of the woods, Palm's most recent earnings statement showed that they are making progress and word came that they may have changed their minds about making fan sites alter their names.
Don't miss the review of the Sony PEG-N610C.
Over in the Forums, there's a good discussion on the best high resolution Doc reader and a poll on paying for the Palm OS 4.1 upgrade.
In the Market Place, there's a Sony N710C going for just $380. There's also a PalmModem for the m500 series or m125 for $75.
PIC Tip of the Week
Don't forget, you can list a handheld-related item for sale or trade in the Market Place for free.
