Later today or tomorrow, iambic will release Bump Attack Pinball 2.0, which adds hi-res+ support and an additional table. -PR

Fry's Electronics is now selling the Palm i705 for $350. According to a sales rep, this isn't a sale, it's the new price. This price is available only in stores, not on the Web. -tekboy

Don't count on it.

Iambic supposedly supports HiRes+ with TinySheet 4 too, but it is buggy & crashes so much that I have had to go back to version 3. Many NR70 users have reported all types of crashes with TinySheet 4. Iambic software was buggy on the Newton years ago & continues to be just as bad on the Palm OS.

This was not my experience. I tested TinySheet 4.12 on the NR70V and didn't have any problems. You can read my mini-review here:

Quicksheet's NR70 display support works great. Stay tuned for an announcement.

I had problems too. So much so that I switched back to DocsToGo.

Yeah, buggy software and domain name squatters. Will stick to Quick Office myself.

Well d**n!! I guess the anti-trust suit did shake them up a little. I wonder if that conduit will also install .NET ticker ads on you Palm..

Entourage

Makes me wish MS would get it's mac division to create all it's software. Their windows software seems so non-creative. Nice to see another option for mac palm users.

Agreed. My Windows-using colleagues are always jealous of Entourage, which is a truly beautiful (and very powerful) program. On the other hand, the Mac version of Internet Explorer (which is not made by the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit) leaves much to be desired. From what I hear, the MMBU engineers are quite the Mac zealots, which is great for us.

All I want...

I.M. Anonymous @ 6/4/2002 12:59:00 PM #
...is a conduit to synchronize contacts to Address Book.app and mail to Mail.app -- you know, the two apps that are on *every* installation of Mac OS X?
RE: All I want...
elo @ 6/4/2002 5:59:31 PM #
In the next version of OS X (late summer), Apple is replacing the Address Book with a new, very robust contact system that will, among other things, use the vCard standard. I doubt it will be long after that before you get your wish. Don't look for anything for the present Address Book, however.

I only see 1.1 version of pinBall at Iambic ...

I.M. Anonymous @ 6/4/2002 1:01:36 PM #
Where is the 2.0?

Anyway I hope there will be new great maps ...
2 was a bit limited ... but this game is so great,
that even with 2 maps I was not bored at all!

PinBall Game not really HighRes+ NR70V...

I.M. Anonymous @ 6/4/2002 2:57:36 PM #
Hey, I've looked at this and played it too. My BIG Problem is the HighRes+ is shrinking the screen down so small, and leaving up the Grafiti area is not what I would have though HighRes+ would be on the NR70V. I would think they would use the whole screen for the whole playing area.

The scrolling of the screen makes you sick to your stomach if you play to long.

You couldn't have played it, because it's not out yet, version 1.1 is the one that shrinks the screen, because it was released earlier. Their news page says today or tommorow.

Ack it edited out my pseudo-HTML tags.... it should read like this:

(sarcasm induced by valium)

Maybe he has come from the future and has already played it.

Maybe he is a troll, in which case he should ****

Maybe he is (was) part of the dev team, who got canned.

(/sarcasm)

Maybe he should register a username.
