Stowaway Keyboard news
Mike Cane forwarded me this email from ThinkOutside developers of the Stowaway fold-up keyboard. Read our mini-review if you haven't already. In short they mention that Palm Computing will sell & market the keyboard very soon under their name "Palm Portable Keyboard". Click read story button for the full message.
Thank you for inquiring about the Stowaway foldable keyboard. We
have been overwhelmed with the wonderful response that we have received from the press, the industry and consumers who have seen or heard about our exciting new products. We have just returned from showing the keyboard at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and it was a big success.
We received three awards (Best of Show, Innovations Design and a
Workstyle Award ( http://www.cesweb.org/innovations/docs/comp.hard.html ) and a
countless number of visitors. The trade show reinforced the fact that our keyboard design is a solution that will make your handheld device even more productive.
We are pleased to inform you that Palm Computing will be branding the keyboard for Palm products under their name "Palm Portable Keyboard", and they will be responsible for announcing, marketing and distributing the product. They are expected to announce availability very soon, and we plan to send another email reminder when they make their announcement.
In addition, the Stowaway for the Handspring Visor will be available by mid-February and will be distributed on a worldwide basis by Targus. If you have any questions, Targus can be reached at http://www.targus.com
We thank you for your interest and support. Please check our
website, http://www.thinkoutside.com to view the latest reviews and for updates on availability.
Best Regards,
Think Outside Marketing Department

RE: Sheesh
So i wait patiently, ...
By the way, does any one now if they have resolved the problem of the keyboard not locking in place? Early reports that i read, siad that you had to place the keyboard on a hard surface, or it would keep folding up.
