Innogear springboard faq

VisorCentral noted that Innogear, the company behind some exciting springboard modules, posted a faq today about their upcoming products. There is still no definite word or when they'll ship or pricing, but there is some new info about the springboards. The mp3 player is looking good unfortunately they decided to go with a proprietary MMC memory card format, probably due to the small form factor, but the unit will work without a Visor and could be used with your car stereo.

Springboard modules

Sure glad I didn't buy a visor for any of these phantom springboards. The visor web site says the modem still isn't available -- and thats one handspring themselves were selling. IMagine how badly off schedule the 3rd party developers will be?

I'm not sorry

with less than 200 to spend on my first palm, the Palm IIIe or the Visor were my choices. I wasn't going to spend over that and find out I didn't like it. With those to choose from, I opted for the multi-configurable one. Vaporware for now or not, I made the right choice.

I own a Visor, but I am very disappointed on what the company does to create more Sprinqboard Modules. I am hoping to get a wireless modem soon:-)
